Behind every woman who experiences anxiety is often a deep-rooted desire to make others happy. It's our hesitation to set boundaries and advocate for our own needs that leads to feelings of confusion and overwhelm. We get caught in a cycle of people-pleasing, overextending ourselves, and putting on a façade in our daily lives. Eventually, we reach a point of exhaustion, resentment, and burnout. In these moments, we are faced with a choice: we can either work on transforming our anxious thoughts and align with our true selves, or we can stay trapped in the same patterns, feeling stuck.
In this impactful and candid keynote, Kjiesta opens up a crucial dialogue about suicide, mental health, and the importance of breaking the silence surrounding these topics, especially for middle and high school students.
With sensitivity and authenticity, she shares her personal experiences with mental health struggles, providing relatable insights for young audiences.
The "Triangle of Health" is a wellness model that focuses on three core aspects of health—physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The idea is that these three elements are interconnected, and balance between them is essential for overall health and vitality.
Together, these three sides form a balanced approach to wellness, emphasizing that neglecting one can impact the others, making holistic self-care vital for well-being.
The "Courage to Live" keynote centers on inspiring individuals to confront and overcome mental health challenges, promoting resilience, and fostering a sense of community and support.
This talk is grounded in Kjiesta's personal journey and experiences with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
